Make your eyes look bright and youthful

As you grow older, the gradual loss of collagen and hyaluronic acid from your skin leads to the onset of fine lines, wrinkles, and tear troughs. Furthermore, the continued use of the surrounding muscles while laughing or squinting can also lead to crow’s feet. If you’re looking for a way to turn back the clock on your appearance, you may want to consider eye rejuvenation. This is a highly personalized procedure that aims to make your eyes look bright and radiant.

Eye rejuvenation treats the following:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes
  • Crow’s feet around the eyes
  • Frown lines between the eyebrows
  • Deep tear troughs under the eyes

How do you perform eye rejuvenation?

We perform eye rejuvenation using wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, microneedling, or a combination of these techniques. Each type of treatment is suitable for different goals and concerns, such as crow’s feet, fine lines, or the loss of facial volume.

During your consultation, Dr. Anyaoku carefully examines your eyes, discusses your goals and concerns, reviews your medical history, and selects the appropriate treatments.

Wrinkle Relaxers

One of the main causes of wrinkles around the eyes is squinting. When the muscles around the eyes contract, it can cause the skin to crease, eventually leading to wrinkles. Wrinkle relaxers, also known as neuromodulators, work by temporarily paralyzing the muscles around the eyes. This relaxes the muscles and prevents them from contracting, which can smooth out existing wrinkles and prevent new ones from forming. We offer two highly effective wrinkle relaxers — Botox and Dysport.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are another popular option for rejuvenating the eyes. They work by filling in the hollows under the eyes, which can often make us look tired and aged. Dermal fillers are usually made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring gel that binds water molecules to your skin, making it look soft, supple, and voluminous. Injecting hyaluronic acid under your eyes allows us to fill your fine lines and wrinkles and soften the appearance of under-eye hollows.

Microneedling stimulates collagen production in the skin, which can plump the skin and smooth out wrinkles. Microneedling is usually done with a device that contains fine needles. The needles make tiny punctures in the skin, which triggers the body to produce more collagen.

Collagen is a fibrous protein that makes your skin look taut and firm, so microneedling sessions can reverse the effects of aging in and around your eyes.
